Four people were killed and three others injured after a truck overturned after hitting a truck parked on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Cumilla's Chandina upazila this morning.The deceased were identified as Monir Hossain, 28, Habibur Rahman, 32, Akter Hossain, 35, and Rafiqul Islam, 23, our local correspondent reports quoting Monjurul Alam, in-charge of Eliotganj Highway Police Outpost.

In a written statement, Asif Mahmud alleged that President of Chhatra Odhikar Parishad Bin Yamin Molla and General Secretary Ariful Islam Adib were trying to gain unfair advantage by catering to Gono Odhikar Parishad.He said Chhatra Odhikar Parishad is a student organisation formed in Dhaka University through quota reform movement."One of the aims and objectives of Chhatra Odhikar Parishad was to be vocal in the realisation of students' rights without any party affiliation," Asif Mahmud also said.
